- This collection brings together a range of community sector and academic papers presented at the Refugee Rights Symposium at Deakin University, 5 December 2002. Featuring articles from keynote speakers Chris Sidoti 'One year after Tampa: refugees, deportees and TPVs' and Peter Mares 'What next for Australia's refugee policy?' (http://hdl.handle.net/1959.3/39318), this timely collection of papers brings together community workers, refugees and academics to discuss critical issues of refugee and asylum policy, cultural identity and citizenship in a new and challenging political climate in Australia.
