- Author(s)

- Abstract
- Follow football's early history from its humble beginnings in 1858 to its dominance at the turn of the century, and learn about the people, places and events that shaped the early days of football. These two online exhibitions capture the history of Victorian football from the 1850s to 1899. They were constructed by Angelina Russo and Faculty of Design students Kelly Griffiths, Matt Hall and Ryan Peel for the Australian Football 150 Years celebrations (http://www.150years.com.au/). The project was based on research undertaken by Dr Mark Pennings, Queensland University of Technology and was undertaken in conjunction with the AFL, State Library of Victoria and Melbourne Cricket Club Library.
