- This presentation will examine the concept of constructing a professional virtual identity and some strategies to manage the impressions you create. In discussing the work practices of the presenters David Cummings, Head of Flexible Learning at Victoria University and Kim Tairi, a librarian at Swinburne University, it will provide insights into digital identity mapping, tracking digital footprints and interpreting online profiles. Finally, through conversation participants will develop a set of simple guidelines for practitioners to manage digital footprints and walk nimbly through the clouds.
