- Title
- A comparison between guarantees standby credits and performance bonds
- Author(s)
-
Johns, Ann
- Abstract
- This paper compares guarantees, standby credits and performance bonds as alternative methods of security. It is written from the perspective of a business person rather than a lawyer, therefore it does not purport to be a dissertation on the law of security. With the increasing sophistication of the finance industry accountants and others need to be aware of the security alternatives available and their legal consequences.
