- This year, Screenrights celebrates 20 years since it was set up to provide simple access to audiovisual material and payment to copyright owners. In the first of a series of commissioned feature articles, Jock Given, a Screenrights founding director and Professor of Media and Communications at Swinburne University’s Institute for Social Research, looks at the last 20 years in Australian television.
