- Abstract
- For higher recycling quotas of EOL goods, the recycling industry needs economic strategies for optimized reverse supply chains and recycling processes. Especially in the EOL area with a high degree of mixed materials, appropriate systems have to be used for supporting the recycler with decisions during the recycling of products. This paper aims to give an overview on relevant approaches which can help recycling companies to deal with the challenges of this highly dynamic environment. Furthermore, available tools and their application in the plastic recycling area will be presented.
