- Title
- Your people are the best recruiting tool
- Author(s)
- Tairi, Kim
- Abstract
- To attract good people to your library, you need good people to already be working there. Those good people need to go out and talk about the work they do: at conferences, submit articles to journals, network through social media like Twitter, and get involved with ALIA and other library-related organisations. The more our staff get out there and engage with the rest of the profession, the better it is for the library in attracting staff when vacancies arise.
