- Abstract
- Expressing emotions in computer games has become a popular focus for game research and development. Many research projects and papers emerged in the fields of game studies, psychology and HCI and others attempting to understand games and emotions. In this work, we present an emotional model that explains the emotional decision-making processes. The model is designed to explore people's behavior in certain circumstances, while under specified emotional states. Special attention was given to the thought process and actions displayed in the hypothetical scenarios. Also, we developed an experimental game program for the evaluation of our emotional decision making model.
