- Abstract
- This work reports on the first instance of real-time tuning of nanoparticle distribution for surface enhanced-Raman spectroscopy (SERS) studies. A combination of piezoelectric thin films and silver SERS nanostructures are utilised to studying the effects of electric field induced variations in nanoparticle spacing. Effect of the electric field strength indicates that greater shifts in nanoparticle spacing result in wavenumber shifts corresponding to ring deformations.
