- Abstract
- The 'Chinese Design, Everyday' exhibition, curated by Wendy Siuyi Wong and sponsored by the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office (HKETO) in Toronto, aims to provide a foundation for understanding design in the greater China region. Apart from Hong Kong, it also features a selection of design work from mainland China, Taiwan and Macao, and the role that Chinese design plays in everyday life. The exhibition includes extensive graphic history along with numerous artifacts through a display of contemporary design objects, traditional household items like package design and dinnerware, Mahjong table, fashion and the latest in lap-top computers.
