- Abstract
- Big History brings us from the Big Bang to the present day. But it is in our nature to not merely seek to understand our past; it is also in our nature to try to comprehend the future and what may await us there. This chapter examines several macro-perspectives on the future, using the wide-angle lens of macrohistory, and will consider some of our potential futures, as well as our possible fate as a species.
