- Abstract
- This study examines entrepreneurial orientation within a defined franchise system, one in Australia, the other in New Zealand. The objective is to evaluate the prevalence of entrepreneurial orientation within these two systems, and highlight differences and reasons. Entrepreneurial orientation is critical to the survival and growth of organisations, notwithstanding the importance to prosperity of economic advantage. Electronic media is used toward a survey analysis across the franchise systems, facilitated by Surveypro and SPSS. Findings are indicative of a significant entrepreneurial orientation in the Australian franchise system and lack of significance in the New Zealand system. Recommendations to enhance entrepreneurial orientation are discussed.
