- Abstract
- It has become commonplace to note the revolutionary nature of the Internet as a global phenomenon. I'm not particularly interested in the Internet as a technology per se, or as an instrument of globalisation. I'm interested in it as a telecommunications medium, in so far as it has impacted upon our concepts of presence, of being, place and identity. To explore this further, I'm particularly interested in aesthetic responses to the Internet, to artistic explorations of what it means to be online.
