- Title
- A hierarchical framework of the acquired immune system
- Author(s)
- Brownlee, Jason
- Abstract
- The acquired immune system provides a general pattern recognition and defence system that modifies itself, adapting to improve its capability with experience. This work elaborates upon and refines the definition of a previously proposed hieratical acquired immune system framework. Rather than trying to fit biological observations in providing a tool for theoretical immunology, the framework is proposed as a tool for computational intelligence (artificial immune systems) for the proposal and investigation of information processing (cognitive and adaptive) models.
