- Graphical calculators are gaining a foothold in Australian classrooms. The March issue of Vinculum contained an insert advertising the TI-81 Graphics calculator purchased in bulk by the Mathematics Association of Victoria. This should make them more accessible to schools. At Swinburne, these calculators were introduced as a compulsory purchase for all students in the first year of the Mathematics/Computer science degree... [Introduction]
